The focus of this class is on creating authentic, engaging performances and we have the amazing opportunity to work with one of the Twin Cities leading directors/actors. I have had the good fortune to work with Gary a great deal over the last few years and am always struck by his wealth of knowledge and experience, what a kind and inspiring person he is, and how he immediately creates a safe environment for singers to take risks and grow.
Nine singers will be invited/chosen to participate as singers in the master class. These invitations will be based on performance readiness as well as ensuring a variety of singers and levels are represented. If you are interested in singing for Gary, please let me know and we will discuss at your next lesson.
*ALL ARE ENCOURAGED (I would require if I could!!) to attend as audience members. *Great learning and inspiration happens through observation as well and one need not be a singing participant to grow from this experience.
Fees to cover professional staff and space are as follows:
$40 Singer participant
$10 Singer attendee (parents may accompany their student singer free of charge)
Please indicate your intent to attend as soon as possible. I need to know that we have a committed quorum no later than two weeks prior on Saturday, September 7. There will be no refunds given after this date if you have indicated that you would attend.
Gary and I have been trying for a couple years to put this event together and our schedules finally aligned in a way that we could make this happen this fall - albeit under a fairly short timeline. I am so excited to provide this wonderful opportunity for my studio of singers and I hope you are able to take advantage of it. Please let me know if you have any questions and remember to SAVE THE DATE!!
It’s time to get these studio classes back up and running. Come share a song you’re working on - whether it’s performance ready or in progress - all are welcome! This is a chance to get up in front of friendly faces and sing just for the love of it.
Since it’s a Friday night, we will meet for drinks at some local watering hole after the studio class.
Please RSVP and let her know if you can come to either or both parts of the evening!
