Welcome to the Tierney Music Studio home page.

Located in the historic Cathedral Hill neighborhood of Saint Paul, Tierney Music Studio offers private music instruction in voice, piano, music theory, and composition.

An accomplished vocal soloist and pianist, Teresa Tierney's versatility ranges from Broadway to opera and classical to jazz.

From helping beginners awaken their abilities, nurturing and continuing training already begun, to aiding advanced musicians to uncover their full potential, all students benefit from individual attention, learning strong technique, and an encouraging environment.

STUDIO NEWS

-Come to the Schubert Club's Courtroom concert at noon on Thursday January 14 for a lunchtime program of a baroque masterpiece. Teresa will be joined by Nicole Warner/Mezzo-soprano, Laura Handler/Cello and Gail Olsezwski/Harpsichord in a performance of selections from Pergolesi's Stabat Mater.

-Teresa was recently chosen to solo with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra in their season closing concert in June 2009. She will be the soprano soloist in Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". See the calendar for more information on tickets!

~Teresa's now a part of the MN Music Hall of Fame! The Dale Warland Singers are 2007 Inductees (alongside Prince and others) to the MN Music Hall of Fame. Teresa sang with the Dale Warland Singers for 10 Seasons including their historic final season.
